FileMaker 'Go'   (top)

FileMaker Inc, have recently announced the release of FM Go. 'Go' is a version of FileMaker able to work with your iPad, iPhone or iPod. It allows you to take databases with you, or, more importantly, it allows you to keep in contact using your device (with some restrictions) with your hosted (served) database, allowing access from anywhere that has Wi-Fi or 3G access. This product is a real breakthrough for those organisations needing to have their staff make live changes / additions to their databases while on the road or away from their office environment.

We have recently started to reccomend Zulu: iCal server for FileMaker (by SeedCode) with our solutions for those customers who need full calendar integration in their FMP databases and iCal (on the Mac). Zulu Calendar links FileMaker entries to iCal (or vice versa) allowing events to be linked to customer contact or other data. Zulu also links with Google Calender (for PC users) as well as calendars on iPhone, iPad, and Android phones.
