About Electronic*Type

Originally founded in 1985 by John Valean Baily, to take advantage of the new computer and printing technology then becoming available. Electronic*Type quickly evolved into a development and training organisation specialising in database design, development and training services–using the FileMaker Inc., (latterly Claris and before that Nashoba !) series of products culminating in FileMaker Pro 11. We currently develop FileMaker Pro solutions using FileMaker Pro 11.0 Advanced (called FileMaker Pro 'Developer' in some previous versions). All solutions work with FileMaker Pro Server 11.0 and FileMaker Pro Server 11.0 Advanced, integrating web and Internet technologies as required. We also provide support programming for users of FMP versions 6.0 through 10.

Electronic*Type consists of a team of professional developers, able to solve the challenging business problems which arise in today's markets. As members of the FileMaker Business Alliance (FBA)–formerly known as the FileMaker Solutions Alliance (FSA)–since 1995 we are among a select few developers who have met the standards required by FileMaker Inc.
